Description

Pulse transforms an ordinary ballpoint into a digital quill, promising to change the way you cram for an exam, review an architect's blueprints or capture any notes. Pulse can record what you hear or say while writing, talk back and provide visual cues of what you are doing on a tiny display. 1GB model is available for $150 and 2 GB for $200.

I'm going to buy it for my 15-teen year old daughter as a birthday present. I think, she will like it.

I've read some reviews for this Pulse Pen and I can say it's a very useful device. You can connect your pen into your computer via the included USB dock. You can install The software on your Windows XP or Vista machine (but not a Mac). A "Paper Piano" mode lets you draw an eight-key piano in your notebook and play it by tapping your pen on the keys. But, of course the most interesting feature is audio recording. Maybe I will buy it one day:)

I think this gadget can be most popular with the students, having many lectures a day or with the repoters, making plenty of interviews. What’s particularly useful about it is the audio recorder. It is capable to record what your write and recording audio at the same time. Lazy students don't have to worry about writing down every word, and if they suddenly fall asleep in class, the lecture will be recorded, and can be easily reviewed after waking up:)

This gadget is not bad, I think. It can save much of your time. This digital pen & paper system is really popular with some people, doing such kind of jobs as retyping documents, stock ordering and invoicing. For me personally it isn't useful, because it requires the special paper.

Looks indeed cool. Just don't know if it's worth that money?
