LG's Scarlet LG61 LCD TV: Slim, Beautiful from Every Angle

The way things look from the back is becoming just as important as the way they look from the front in the latest fashion language. With its shiny deep red back, the LG61 changes our perception of conventional sets, by turning the “other” side of the TV it into a design detail that completes the overall look and feel of the product. This sleek and sophisticated design takes not only features but style into consideration in order to truly enhance consumers’ lives.

If the LG 61 were to be compared to woman, she would be a true femme fatale. The LG61 is captivating with a look that lingers in your mind’s eye long after you look away. However, her real beauty would be her back as she walks on past.

Beyond its scarlet pedigree, the Scarlet LG61 is as attractive as a work of art hanging in a gallery. At just 1.7 inches (44.7mm) thick, she the world’s slimmest LCD TV with an HD tuner and LG’s new wall mount technology makes her look even more slender by minimizing the space between the TV and the wall to less than 1 inch (2.5 cm).

The LG61 was also noted as an intelligent fashion icon at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show. “As female consumers become a rising target market, product design should be more refined and present new concept,” said xxx. “The LG61 is designed to appeal to buyers who want a TV with a unique design. With this TV we wanted to create a completely immersive TV watching experience.”

Blending distinctive design with smart technologies, the Full HD LG61 is equipped with LG’s advanced features such as Intelligent Sensor, which adjusts the brightness and the color characteristics of the display based on the room lighting conditions to create the best viewing experience This feature also has the added benefit of lowering power consumption by as much as 69.5 percent.

The LG61 also includes advanced TruMotion 100Hz technology eliminating motion blur, even during fast-moving action sequences, as well as a dynamic contrast ratio of up to 50,000:1, which means that blacks are darker, whites are brighter and colors are more vibrant overall.
