It is the improved version of Everio in the area of appearance, sapphire blue, ruby red and silver diamond casing. The workings of the camcorder is improved with higher resolution.

The Everio GZM330 was offered through the Home Shopping Network. It includes an AC adapter, battery pack, remote control with a battery, USB cable, AV cable, core filter, carrying case, CD ROM and Editing software CD ROM. All you need for extras is an SD card and a tripod.

Best Features:

There is an auto light for darkened room video. There is no flash, but this works fine with the auto light setting. You can shoot still and video shots. The still shots have an amazing 640 x 480 resolution. The LCD screen is fantastic. It is a color 2.7-inch LCD screen. There is image stabilization for moving objects and an occasional unsteady hand.

As far as picture modes, they are too numerous to mention. Wherever you are snow, sunlight, night time or anywhere in between there is a mode. Great special effects. The auto mode does a great job. You can adjust the white balance automatically or manually.

The software is fantastic for editing and creating great movies. This is a camcorder for serious enthusiasts. The great part is that it makes a pro out of amateurs almost instantly. This is an easy camcorder and whatever you don't know is in the user manual.

I saw this camcorder demonstrated on HSN and I absolutely knew this was my choice. I've ordered it and can hardly wait to put it through its paces. I will update this review if anything changes.

Suggestions:

I can't think of anything including the battery pack that I would change about this camcorder. Easy to charge and it will withstand any event I want to photograph or create a video. JVC is a pioneer in camcorder manufacturing and this one is a great leap forward.
