I read a review for this frame on 'The Gadgeteer' and just had to go on Amazon.com and buy one. For $99, I feel like I got my money's worth and finally, a frame that focuses on just displaying Hi-Res pictures in a simple and easy-to-use fashion.
The key feature of this frame is that it’s a "Cordless" frame.
With a rechargeable internal lithium-ion battery this frame can be freed from a
plug socket long enough (2hrs) so that you can sit around a coffee table and
show off your latest holiday snaps and videos with your friends, passing it
amongst one another.
Why’s it worth reviewing? Of the top 20 digital picture frame models being sold
on amazon.com (the most up to date sales figures from a large sampling) none
feature Bluetooth or wi-fi. People do like these features, but they’re niche, it's
not the direction frames will be taking for the next 12 months. So what’s
everyone looking for as the next improvement to a digital frame? -
Cordless Frames. Following this trend are Kodak who have just released their
new 7 inch cordless frame . But this Nix frame is nicer, easier to use and $30 cheaper.
